Carla and I have been dating on and off for that last 8 years. I know that sounds like a lot of time (and it is) but recently we have started talking about getting married and our future life together. I knew I wanted to marry Carla after a week of meeting her, but everything and anything seem to get in the way of our relationship. Now since we have pasted just about all the hurdles, now we are thinking it over again. All I can say is things work out for the way they should. Just be patient and persistant. Talk to you later...

Expanding LPJ Design, Step 4

I am in the process in signing a another person to my new record label Deathmate Records. Beau Butger AKA Bonus is a member of Brokensound Blvd here is South Florida and one of my co-workers. So if everything goes well, I hope to have him signed for at least one song and we will see where we can go from there. PLUS I might even have an entertainment / Intellectual Property lawyer signed on to the company to make sure everything is legal and on the up and up. I am taking this VERY SERIOUSLY since the music business is very well known for Shady characters. Talk to you later...

While looking through my daily torrent sites, i happened to see this and though I know a few people who might like to see this. I was worried when I first heard about what they were going to do in Day 7 (Season 7) but now all my fears have been calmed. Enjoy.

Sleepy, so sleepy...

Went out last night to a night club. Got home at 1:40 AM, got up at 6:30 AM. I am SO sleeply. I hate having to go to work. Talk to you later...

Deathmate's first music tract

The first track for Deathmate Records is coming along perfectly. The sound was right, everything was good, just need to amp up some stuff. A very solid start for what we are planning. I hope that we can get it done some time in the NEAR (Read: 2 weeks) so we can start selling it to people and on top of that, making back the money it cost me to make. That is really what business is all about. Making back the money you spend on things. I hope it works out well. Talk to you later...

5 months with out TV...

Roughly 5 months ago I cut my cable service and I have been with out local or cable TV for that time. The interesting part is I have seen MORE TV now then ever before. With sites like BitTorrent, Netflix, Blockbuster Video or even actually network placing show on their website I have not missed any of the shows I wanted to watch and best of all I get them WITHOUT commerials (mostly). I personally think TV as we know it will be dead with in 10 to 20 years. What will replace it will be a mix TV as we know it / Movies / and on-Demand service. I have "gotten off the tube" maybe you should think about it. Oh yea I forgot to tell, you the money that I saved by getting off of the tube (roughly $70 - $80 a month = $840 to 960 a year) Has done very well in helping to get me out of debt. Expanding LPJ Design, Step 3.5

Just purchased DeathmateRecords.com last night. I hope that I can get the "landing page" with the company logo up by this weekend. Plus I plan to have the ORIGINAL five music tracks that were made for the company, but went no where due to working with the wrong people (Can you say Gary "Hive" Simpson) online so you can listen to. Talk to you later...

Expanding LPJ Design, Step 3

Well this is a small announcement that will be announced as a LARGE announce most likely in a few weeks, so here we go. Louis Porter Jr. Design has formed it own internet/digital record label called Deathmate Records. Deathmate will focus on creating music genres of alternative rock, alternative metal, nu metal and rapcore. So if you are a fan of Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Fort Minor, Public Enemy, Limp Bizkit, Stuck Mojo, Incubus, Styles of Beyond, Demigodz, Celldweller, The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, Nonpoint, Trust Company and even some Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes. So if you like any of these groups, then you will like our music. I am currentl working with [CLASSIFIED] and we will be releasing the first three songs most likely with in the next few weeks, if everythign goes OK. Stay tuned. Talk to you later...

Well at least I think it is funny...

The Other Shoe Drops...

I few month ago I told you about this little incident happened to a very good friend of mine. Well last night he told me "the other shoe" dropped, She has left him and is asking for a divorce. Everyone saw this coming, now all there is to worry about is what are they going to do about their son. And they say being single is a bad thing. Talk to you later...

Captain America's Back!!! but Steve Rogers is still dead.

I knew that this was coming, and now that it is here I am "kinda" glad. While this is not Steve Rogers, I am glad to see "Captain America" returning to the Marvel Universe. While this is a new person and costume change (I kind of like it, but I wished the new costume would be more like the Ultimate's Cap's WWII Uniform. Now that is BAD ASS!!!). Now I have to wait and see what is "New and Different" with this Cap. With Ed Brubaker writing Captain America I am not worried. I have not liked everything (Bucky is DEAD!), I have liked something (The concept behind the Winter Soldier is cool!) so I will give it a chance. January is going to be a very interesting month. Secrets of a London Call Girl...

Remember when I talked about Doctor Who goes XXX, well I just say the 2nd episode (sorry the 1st one is still downloading) of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and I have to admit it was fun to watch. Not too much sex, but funny and kind of cute. What a really found interesting that it is based off of a real call girl by the name of Belle de Jour (Her working name of course) but she also has a blog where you can read more about her escapades. Just what I need, another show to get hooked on.

By the way, I have only two more episodes for Mad Men, and I am done with the first season. I must say I don't know if I love it or just like it, but it is VERY interesting view of the 1960s. if you want somethign different, check it out.

Expanding LPJ Design, Step 2.5

Well I am in inital talks with certain individuals to do a [CLASSIFIED] for Haven: City of Violence, Haven: Full Metal Zero and NeoExodus: A House Divided. This is not my first time into the arena of [CLASSIFIED]. The last time I attempted something like this I was dealing with Gary "Hive" Simpson (You might not know him, but here is a good example of him at work. What a Douche!) So unlike last itme I am going to be VERY CAREFUL and make sure everything is on the up and up beofre it gets to crazy. Wish me luck. Talk to you later...

Just so you know...

I got this response from Mark over at Skortched Urf Studios over the comments I made on Are you really a RPG Publisher...

I know I have taken a couple of month's off from my regular release schedule, but there is no need to post a specific blurb on your Blog about it! ;-) Or were you talking about some other publisher? LOL!-Mark

Just so you know, I was NOT talking about Mark. LOL!!!! I was talking about my favorite materless samurai and his company. Talk about lack of production?!?!?! I guess he has made a enough money to retire from the business? Because I consider his business officially D.O.A. Talk to you later...

Expanding LPJ Design, Step 2

As of this month, Louis Porter Jr. Design has paid off it major debts and now makes enough money, barring any amazing economic changes, is virtually completely out of any debt and the company's profits are so high that we can run it indefinitely with out any changes or modifications to business as we currently do it.

Now what this means in “real English” is that while LPJ Design was always profitable, it is now so profitable that I can start building other businesses off of the profits made from LPJ Design. And with that I am now announcing my newest ventures; Devil’s Playground and Enemy One Entertainment. Basically put Devil’s Playground is my expanding into card and board games for the family, while Enemy One Entertainment is my expansion into digital and video material including video games, online music and varies items like that. So now you know, let’s see where this takes me. Thanks for all your support over these years and your continued support in our new adventures. Talk to you later...

Are you really a RPG Publisher if...

The US versus the Canadian dollar!!!

OK this is not good! If you don't know the Canadian dollar and the US dolar are virtually at the same value on the international montery exchange. This is the first time some thing like this has happened in 30 years. Now it mean all those Canadian artists and writers I use are getting LESS money then before for the work they have done. Boy I am sure they like hearing that. Talk to you later...
