Samuel L. Jackson's 'Iron Man' Cameo

Well this is a cool thing. I thought it would be cool to see him as Nick Fury (The Ultimate Marvel version) but at the same time it goes back to an issue with Marvel Comics. With 40 years of history, Marvel has a convoluted history that has ISSUES and problems that instead of fixing them they created the Ultimate Universe. The issue I have with all this is that DC Comics had the same problem but they fixed theirs by doing Crisis on Infinite Earths. But for some reason Marvel will not do this. I don't know why they will not fix these issues. All they need is Geoff John and Mark Waid to come handle that and get George Perez or Phil Jimenez to do the art and everything would be perfect. But that is never going to happen.

And the rest of the weekend days have done very well for themselves too. This month's sales blows away my best month ever (May 2005) by at least 3 times! Nothing up my sleeve...

Look What I found on Gareth's log:

<<Just marking this down so that it's on the public record.....Today, Louis Porter bought the following products from Adamant Entertainment:
Imperial Age Magick
Imperial Age: Advanced Class - Alienist
Imperial Age: Advanced Class - Monster Hunter
Imperial Age: Spiritualism
The GameMaster's Guidebook to Victorian AdventureI expect that we'll be seeing copycat products from him on those topics within the next few months. Remember, you heard it here first
.>>

I actually don't plan to copy it. (But since most your material is Open Content, how do you copy? Whatever.) I have something more interesting in planning. I think this will make you REAL happy! Don't worry you will see soon. Remember what I said Gareth...

Meet my friend, Talia...

This is a friend of mine, Talia who happens to be a import car model. She is 5'2", and weight 100 lbs. Her hair color is Brown, and Eyes are Brown. She wears a size 1 dress, small blouse, zero pants and size 5 shoe. Her exact measurements are 34-24-34. She has also appeared on TV, commericals and movies including The Fast and the Furious 2.

But best of all, she is a hardcore gamer. She plays d20 fantasy mostly and she playes a Dwarven Rogue it my local game. She is a very tactical player. If you need something stolen, then she's your man. And who said you can meet hot girl's gaming. Talk to you later...

Black Friday success continues...with a Vengence!

As of 6 PM, my sales for the One Dollar Sale are 90 times my normal daily sales!!! This day alone is the largest selling day I have ever had. Plus making it the largest selling month in my history as a PDF Publisher. But the question I keep asking is, how much higher is it going to go???

Black Friday success continues...

As of Noon, my sales for the One Dollar Sale are 40 times my normal daily sales!!!

Black Friday is a success ALREADY!

Well I am roughly 6 hours into my Black Friday One Dollar Sale, and I have already sold 15 time my normally daily volume. If this continues, I could get as much as 60 times my normal volume!!! Now that would be a GOOD CHRISTMAS for me!! Talk to you later.

Expanding LPJDesign, Step 5.25

Well I have been in the works in getting my newest "soldiers" and "associates" in line for my plans in 2008. 2008 looks like it is going to be an year with the focus of gain more "strategic territory" from other RPG PDF publishers. With 4th Edition coming up some many people have focused on that, but are missing out on something that longer term could be best for them. The production level of some many publishers is basically go to zero waiting for what WOTC is doing with the SRD. Well I think that it is going to cost a few people who should have been working instead of waiting. But since "loose lips sink ships" all I am going to say is have a good Thanksgiving and don't forget to get something from our One Dollar Sale going on tomorrow. Talk to you later...

A Stupid RPG Publisher and the ego he has...

Well once again someone is trying to stir the shit up again. Gareth Skarka is trying to start some shit up with me AGAIN!!! Jesus this boy doesn't know what he is getting himself into. Anyone who reads this blog know that I take business serious and MOST RPG publisher barely can spell "business" so they have this idea that we are all "good buddies" and if they do something in a genre no one else can. What kind of stupidity is that? That is like saying since McDonalds makes hamburgers, no one else can. No Burger King, No Wendy's, No Carl's and No Jack in the Box. Could you imagine a world like that?

These publishers are all about having their ego stroked and being told "how great they are". I don't give a damn about that, I am in business. I am in it to make money. Never get that confused. Now it seems I am going to have to teach Gareth a lesson that is going to cost him a whole hell of a lot more than he thinks. Now I will finally get to use all those fun business tactics I have always wanted to but I thought they might be too harsh. Well I guess that time is over. I feel sorry for him; he ready doesn't understand what I am going to do to him. Talk to you later...

Expanding LPJDesign, Step 4.5

I am in the process of attempting to purchase another smaller PDF company and take over their current inventory. This happens some time in the "real" business world but not to often in the small but constantly changing world PDF Publishing. It amazes me how many people out there attempt to start a PDF RPG company and release two or three products then are never heard from again.

I think it would be in the best for the industry as a whole to have large companies purchas these smaller companiess. My reason being: 1) It reduces the number of defunct companies in the market and give a real number to how many companies actaully exist. 2) It expands the sales base of a "successful" company. 3) People who attempted and failed (9 out of all 0 start-up business fail in the US) will still make at least a few dollars on their projects. So if there are any people out there who want to sell their PDF comapny, send me a e-mail at LMPjr007 (at) AOL (dot) com. Who knows, it might be a good fit for al. Talk to you later...

BitTorrent Strikes again - Battlestar Galatica: Razor

Once again some sone has leaked the pre-air version of Battlestar Galatica's upcoming TV movie, Battlestar Galatica: Razor. One a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest this one was a strong 8.5 to 9. Very cool story, GREAT special effects and a nice homage to the original Battlestar Galatica series (By your command!). But the scary part is once again this is leaked to the internet 2 weeks before it is supose to air on the SciFi channel and two days before the special screening are planned to air. So now with a writer's strike going on, is this the beginning of the end as TV as the dominant form of entertainment? I said it once and I will say it again, Internet killed the TV star. Talk to you later...

I have been working of late on several different different project from my job, personal, LPJ Design and Deathmate Records. With this month having "Black Friday" I am going to take advantage of it in a great way. I am looking to increase the sale numbers by at least 15% over last year. Expanding LPJDesign, Step 4.25

OK I just got the official final version of the Music for the first song and it is EXCELLENT! Very Fort Minor / Styles of Beyond / Crystal Method / Chemical Brothers. I hope to get this released by this week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday. Finally another piece coming together. I have also placed the Deathmate Records website up and have been updating it as I fine tune it to get it to the place that I like. Looks like Deathmate Records is coming together perfectly. Now I have to start selling the concept of what Deathmate is to other people. That is going to be fun. Talk to you later...
