Fallen of Obsidian Twilight: Asi Magnor (PRPG) Now on sale at RPGNow and Paizo

Sheathed in fragrant wrappings and armored by magic and sheer age, the undead emperor Asi Magnor conquered the world before, and after, his death. He radiates power and malevolence, the desire to rule and the power to clutch the world in his claw-like hands or crush it beneath his sandaled feet. Asi Magnor was born into a long and unbroken line of kings in the desert Kingdom of Shaan. The Shaan were known, before the cataclysm, as a peaceful and cosmopolitan people with ornate and elaborate death rituals, but in the time of Asi Magnor, some three thousand years before the cataclysm, they were a war-like people with advanced cities, agriculture and great command of magic. Available at RPGNow.com and available at Paizo.com!!!

My Alpha Flight limited series script...

A while back, when Marvel and DC Comics were still taking scripts from unknown writer I came up with and indea of doing a Alpha Flight limited series script. The reason I picked Alpha Flight was that they are such a CRAPPY team they could use a readly good reconcept from the ground up.  I tied in the concept in to a VERY CRAPPY run on of Captain America villian called Protocide.  I have attached the free three pages of script dialoge that I wrote for the series.  Enjoy!

PAGE 1 - Opening chase scene with McIntyre

PANEL ONE
Medium shot. You are looking at Clinton McIntyre formally known as Protocide, as if you are looking at him on a TV monitor, as he is running for his life in the back alleys streets of some urban metropolis. He has several chemical darts that are sticking in his skin as he looks panicked and afraid of this situation.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER CAPTION:
Epsilon Seven to Epsilon Five, we have the target on grid. Sector G 12. He’s moving fast.

EPSILON FIVE LEADER CAPTION:
Roger. We shot enough tranquilizers to stop two bull elephants and he shrugged it off like it was nothing. We have four operatives down. Three of them are in serious condition.

PANEL TWO
Medium Shot. Looking through a TV monitor, Clinton McIntyre is jumping over a chain link fence in the back alleyway.

EPSILON FIVE LEADER CAPTION:
We are also going to need clean-up on the site.

PANEL THREE
Medium Shot. Looking through a TV monitor, McIntyre is still running in the back alley.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER CAPTION:
All Epsilon groups be advised the target’s ground speed has increased to 50 mph.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER CAPTION:
Epsilon Three the target should reach your location in 20 seconds. Prepare a full spread of darts.

EPSILON THREE LEADER CAPTION:
Confirmed and ready.

PANEL FOUR
Medium Shot. Looking through a TV monitor, McIntyre is being fired on by Epsilon operatives in crimson and black colored protective body armor from various locations in the alley. Several more darts hit McIntyre all over his body.

MCINTYRE:
AARRGGHH!!

EPSILON THREE LEADER CAPTION:
Target engaged. Full spread.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER CAPTION:
Epsilon One and Six converge on Three’s location and provide support. Three keep firing and press your advantage.

PANEL FIVE
Medium Shot. Looking a TV monitor, McIntyre acrobatically leaps up to a fire escape and moves to the roof.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER CAPTION:
Be advised, target has left street level and is moving to the roof top. Epsilon Two be prepare, we driving him right to you.

EPSILON TWO LEADER CAPTION:
We are prepared and ready to go, Team Leader Seven.

Close up shot on Epsilon Seven Leader and the subordinate.

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER:
But the rumor is he was supposed to be the original person the super soldier serum was tested on.

SUBORDINATE:
WHAT? You mean the serum that made Captain America?

EPSILON SEVEN LEADER:
Yep. This guy was the prototype for Captain America.

SUBORDINATE:
Captain America, huh. Well, welcome to Canada.

RPG Publishing Gauntlet - Having a Manifesto Part 1 & 2

Getting things started...

It is tough to get things started in the business world.  There are a lot of issue that can always hold you back.  One of my greatest failures and not getting something started right was Grand Theft Exodus.  I wanted to do a weekly online webcomic, but time, cost and other productuion issues prevent these series from really going where I had it planned.  So here is the first webstrip as sort as of maybe one day I can come back to it.  Enjoy.  Talk to you later...

UK Televison shows ROCK!!!

Why does the UK have better shows than the US? Paradox, Skins, Secret Life of a Call Girl, Life on Mars, Dragons Den even Torchwood are all great shows. The US really needs to step up it TV.  These crappy reality are not going to save TV.  Only good writing will do that. Talk to you later...

RPG Publishing Gauntlet - Artists and Artwork

How much should Pirates of the Bronze Sky cost?

This is just something for you to think about for a while. With the country STILL in an economic down turn, I want to know what gamers feel would be a good price to sell the upcoming Pirates of the Bronze Sky for? How many pages for how many dollars? What seems fair? Tell me what you think.

I have also cross placed this post at the Paizo Blog so you can follow this thread.

Red Skull confirmed as Captain America Movie villian

Director Joe Johnston has been out talking to press this weekend for his new movie The Wolfman and most of the discussion has ended up focusing on The First Avenger: Captain America. Johnston spoke with Collider and gave them a lot of details about the direction they're heading with the film. Additionally, ComingSoon confirmed (as did AICN) that the villain in Captain America will be Cap's arch-nemesis Red Skull, the Nazi badass whose head is just a red skull. Now this is the kind of awesome stuff that I like to hear because it's getting me very excited about seeing Johnston's Captain America movie come together. Read about it here!

The Invaders will appear in the Captain America Movie

As expected, there's a lot of big Captain America news hitting the web this weekend because director Joe Johnston is finally out talking to press. In addition to all the details we learned about the movie yesterday, over at CHUD they've confirmed with Johnston himself that The Invaders, a WWII superteam that Cap and Bucky are a part of, will be in the movie, too. In fact, "they'll be in the entire second half," Johnston told them. It was first rumored last year that The Invaders might make an appearance but now we know they're officially involved. So does that mean we might see up to "nine costumed characters" in this movie total? Read about it here!

[LPJ Design] FREE Black Powder Weaponry (PRPG) Preview released

Louis Porter Jr. Design, has released its preview for the upcoming Pirates of the Bronze Sky setting for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, inspired by a war torn fantastical dark pulp genre with non-traditional fantasy technologies powered by magic like skyships and mechanical beings. Here is information on the Black Powder Weaponry (PRPG) Preview:

The current state of the art in personal firearms is a smoothbore weapon with a wheellock firing mechanism. Earlier matchlocks, which required a lit match held in a “matchlock” to fire, and the even earlier hand culverins, which required manual application of a lit match, are still in circulation but no regular forces use them. Though most firearms come from the mass production gunworks of the Monarchy weapon forges, there are skilled craftsmen in other locations that can and do build firearms.

Cleaning up Twitter...

The last few days I have been going through my twitter account, getting rid of people who don't follow me and those who have not tweeted in a month.  Twitter is so easy to use, how could you be so lazy and NOT use it.  Talk to you later...
